  1. just speaking to ohjay now and they have a possibility of ten to add to the numbers they are all just deciding if they are going Top stuff, looking forward to seeing them again . @Lateralus just so you know, we don't all pile in Rennies Caravan for a disco although I like the idea. Erm, not sure I'm liking the idea!!!
  2. TBH I've got no idea how I got up there anyway! I'm sure MCN just makes it up as they go along
  3. F*ck off Stu! Did SWMBO say yes??
  4. Seeing as it'll be me sorting this out on the night, I thought I'd give myself a head start! Soooo, any karaoke requests please post in here & I'll do my best to find them
  5. Hoggs - how does it feel to be one of two women whooping these blokes arses?!
  6. Thank f*ck Stu's cull didn't go too far back!!
  7. Words don't seem enough at times like this! Aaron was a genuinely lovely lad who will be sorely missed by many. R.I.P - ride free
  8. REALLY not sure what I was listening to at times on Saturday night!!!
  9. Took us a while to get back, but then it would with a caravan! Fantastic weekend with old friends & New, the best rally we've had - everyone got on so well! Missed a couple of regular faces though Oh and it was Tango' s suggestion for a venue - we just checked it out!
  10. Yep my changes were a 'shit or bust' choice too!
  11. Injuries have stuffed up my season!
  12. Oh no that's sad - they were really nice! Hopefully they're starting up again then. There was also a training school that ran from behind Wylie & Holland, by the Swan in Wellington, but Wylie & Holland have moved now I think - to ex garage premises next to New College.
  13. Hi The phone number & address for Approved Rider training is in Leegomery because that's where the owner lives I think. As Rennie says, they operate out of Trench Lock - I would recommend them to anyone, really great blokes!
  14. Ah, a bit too far from Telford! I think another member Remy (Gill) used a school in Shrewsbury which may be a bit closer - maybe drop her a PM and ask.
  15. Hi there Whereabouts in Shropshire are you? Knowing that would help members maybe recommending a trainer. We're in Telford & I can recommend Approved Rider Training in Telford.
  16. Hi there If you take your test on the 125 you can only ride a 125 - end of! The only way to get a full, unrestricted licence is to take it on a bigger bike I'm afraid. Maybe pop to your local training centre & ask them to take you on an assessed ride, then you'd get some idea of how your riding meets the test standard. IMO it would be good to get some practise of the Mod 1 test circuit, just to make sure you are wholly familiar with all the elements of the test. You can download a diagram & set up a circuit for yourself if you can find somewhere to do it.
  17. na my dAD knows it all it used to be his Not really sure why you posted it in the old bikes & projects section then? Never mind - perhaps you were introducing yourself? If so, that's what Newbies section is for
  18. Moved here, into Pitstop, as I presume you want some advice on what to do/how to fix it???
  19. Rules changed last Jan - as has been said, if you take test on 125 you can only ride 125. As you're 29 you may as well do mod 1 & 2 on 'big' bike! Nothing to stop you riding 125 on a CBT for a while, to gain experience.
  20. Oooh Roy, I'm not far behind you!!! Crutchlow did me a bit of a favour lol. Dunno what to do about changes though - tricky!!
  21. Hi Craig, welcome to the forum! Yes, mod 1 & mod 2 are the way to get your full licence after CBT. DAS stands for Direct Access Scheme so it is the means of learning in readiness for passing mod 1 & 2
  22. Difficult to recommend brands because sizing varies so much too - as Neil says, it's better to try stuff on really. You can then always look on ebay
  23. I understand what you're saying about money Gary - in a career that is possibly somewhat limited in years who wouldn't go for big bucks?! I just think that he's having a brilliant season & shows great promise of achieving bigger & better things. When you look at Rossi's time at Ducati & Dovi this season they both failed to do what they're known to be capable of. Maybe a panic move? AFAIK Cal didn't have a ride for next season so maybe he's gone with Ducati as it's better than nothing?! Just hope it doesn't put a halt to his career progress & he makes it work.
