Yep its a tiny little USB. Same as one of my other cameras. You can buy them off eBay. Yep, instructions are crazy. Dont need them though. Front button is the on/off button. Back button starts/stops recording. Simples ;)

So what's the verdict??

Need some of that for mine... I was planning rubber floor tiles but I Dont think my base has a damp proof membrane so moisture seems to collect underneath anything I leave on the floor.

I think i see what he means. The pins are fixed into one side, but it seems you've managed to push them out the back of the fixed side which has meant there's not enough pin left sticking out on the other side of the link to "mushroom over" properly.

LOL yep seen them, get the feeling it would end up being a bit like sticker collecting at school. you know when you had that empty slot in your sticker book and you just had to get the sticker to fill it?? i think i would be like that with tool trays... My latest idea is to take the hinge pin out of the plastic halfords tool case. I can then have the two halves on two shelves (or one wide shelf).

Situation is that I normally just sling the whole tool kit on the floor and take tools as I need them. Its a bit of a pain having them on the floor, and I always trip over them! Alternative would be one of those metal cabinets on wheels, but then I would need to take all the tools out of the plastics carry case, and put them into the drawers. That's great if you never take tools anywhere, but sometimes its nice to just pick up the toolbox and take it out of the garage. So I think what I want is a half way solution. So something to keep the tools in the plastic case and off the floor, on wheels so I can move them around. But when I want to take the tools out of the garage I can still take them in their case. Anyone else have this problem? Or is it just me??

He might not be far off. I've not tried yet, but I've been out for two good length rides and it only started going flat late last night when it was already too dark. Nice feature is that it vibrates to tell you its stopping recording and then again to say its powering off. With it helmet mounted you can feel the vibration.

Had a thought, are we breaking any terms or conditions of the card by broadcasting the discount prices?? Halfords might not be happy if everyone found out...

I just re-gassed my air-con and the instructions said "go for a drive" so I went a filled the tank with diesel and then ended up back at halfords, got chatting with the same bloke I spoke to before about discounts and ended up walking out with the 200piece professional socket set (with ratchet spanners) Retail: £150 (reduced from 300) Trade: £124.99 I said I was gonna give the card a spanking this weekend! Lol.

Well I was at the parts desk at the back of the shop. He took my reg number to find the parts, priced it all up, then I asked what diacount I got for trade card. He had to start the process again. So seems its best to tell them first that you have the card. I also wanted an air-con recharge kit. They have an offer on at the moment, 3 for 2 on air-con products. But the offer doesn't apply to trade card users. So me and the halfords guy priced up what the three items would cost with trade discount compared to the normal 3 for 2 offer. On this occasion the three for two was cheaper. So I bought the pads with the trade card for the 25% discount and bought the three air-con products on the 3for2 offer with 10quid back when I return the used gas cylinder... All in all, very enjoyable experience. They guy knew his stuff and was keen to give me the best price so was happy to let me know prices and get his calculator out to get the beat deal.

Does bad fuel really exist? Fuel comes from the same refineries, and I doubt anyone deliberately adds crap to their fuel, which leaves the only possible source being the storage tanks and pumps. I'd be amazed if suppliers had enough crap in their tanks to block up individual car fuel filters. If they block one, they should surely block every car that filled up from there, and if this happened it would be a PR nightmare as the vendor would be liable for the repair of thousands of cars... Has this ever actually happened??

Yeah, don't buy a 600, you'll have no way to get it to the test centre unless an instructor rides with you. Get some lessons, they'll teach you how to pass the tests, then buy whatever bike you like and then the learning really starts.

Yeah its not bad. Not broadcast quality by any means, but certainly good enough. There as some setting you can make by changing some values in a file on the SD card. Settings for white balance, exposure saturation etc etc. So I think I might need to tweak a few values. Also, its amazing how much my helmet is bouncing about!! I know my suspension is stiff at the moment as I'm trying out different settings, but the video makes it look like I have a couple if scafolding poles as front forks!! If I mount to the bike I'll see if I can devise a way to absorb some of the movement. Or I'll give the shake reduction on YouTube a try..
