    Brakes question

I can recommend Kyoto or Rhino for this! Weirdly the no-name Chinese jobbies I've tried have had significantly more bite than those two brands.. Until they get hot then they forget they are brake pads and become ultra slippy frictionless things. Brake fade is the problem with cheap pads.
  2. Looks nice apart from the exhaust which looks like a total after thought.

    New bike

You can get a brand new one for £150 per month.. So if you didn't spend cash buying your old one back and time and efforts breaking it and selling on eBay, you could put down a larger deposit and reduce the monthly payments.
  4. Not giving anyone a hard time, it's a pretty sensible question isn't it?? Well you kinda were mate, we all need a hand at points Ok well how about taking it as the sensible question that it was rather than getting all defensive and upset. Bikes aren't cheap, running bikes isn't cheap, biking gear isn't cheap. If it's genuinely about needing transport to get to work there are much cheaper alternatives to a Busa that won't leave you indebted to your family for years to come. If I'd wanted to give you a hard time I would have.

    WWII bombers

Somewhere amongst my grandad's old stuff I have a genuine service manual for Halifax bombers. Incredibly detailed drawings showing how they are put together and details how to service them along with my grandad's own hand written notes. He was considered an expert on Halifax bombers and spent much of the war moving around the middle East telling people how to keep them flying. Got some fantastic photos of Halifax bombers parked up in sandy middle Eastern air strips too.
  6. CBT means Compulsory Basic Training. It basically is lessons. Just give it a go and if you pass great, if not they will ask you back for another try.
  7. Also dynax borrowed some funds so are you going to give him a hard time about it? Yes!, c'mon Joeman, give me a hard time , i'm older and my finances are bolloxed, Not giving anyone a hard time, it's a pretty sensible question isn't it??
  8. Dude, you're 33years old and having to borrow 4k from your gran which will take you a couple of years to pay back?? Doesn't that's ring any alarm bells with you about your financial situation and life choices??
  9. Bet you don't wear a neck brace or airbag jacket.. "full protection" is very subjective..
  10. One of the forum sponsors is related to them so best not give them too much stick.
  11. Collects "dolls" and rants like a......
  12. Runs her over then mounts the curb for another try!
  13. Someone needs to invent a water canister that can be attached to the exhaust downpipe to heat water up. Instant hot water for your snot-poodle when you stop
  14. Roll them in clay, and throw them in the fire. They bake inside and when your crack the clay off the spines come out.
  15. I'm up for some camping so long as there's a good pub involved. I missed the last rally so not been camping with the bike for years!!
  16. Pot noodle and a 12v kettle
  17. We've already got enough with the one who blew herself up last summer. Whoa Whoa! This is a tale which needs telling! It's on the forum somewhere,I remember reading about it.
  18. Every workplace needs an office loonatic! Hire her for comedy value.
  19. No quickshifter either by the looks of things in the video. That's as suprise.
  20. This is a great idea. Thanks mate. Invest in some "case savers" to cover it up and help prevent it happening again.
  21. Not a lot of BHP for such a massive engine considering its supposed to be a sports/naked hybrid. Tidying up the numberplate will be tricky..
  22. This is more than likely what we will do. Our garage does have a rather strong looking beam half way up it. And the msx isn't exactly heavy They become surprisingly unstable when you hang them from the ceiling and remove the forks and wheel. If you have a rear paddock stand, make sure you use that to help prevent the bike flipping over.
