TC Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Looking at different websites its amazing how many different forecasts you can get.So what site do/have you used and what's the forecast going to be.http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/ ... ea=MatlockBTW the forecast for yesterday at Matlock went from Heavy rain, thunderstorms, scattered showers and it turn out to be a cracking warm dry day for riding. Susieque Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 I use netweather and metcheck and they're both saying similar things - v light to light rain over the weekend, maybe heavier overnight on Friday. But it'll all change by Friday! Quote
spafe2302 Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Generally its look up, 'oh no its raining' *puts waterproofs on* *continue*The weather will be what it is, give it a quick glance on thurs or friday morning, jsut to make sure its not a monsoon and we're all good Quote
Guest akey Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 I use XC weather its usually pretty good. http://www.xcweather.co.uk/From our Met Office guys they say that anything over 3 days is subject to major variations anyway Quote
Susieque Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Looking at that Mark, it seems the rain isn't necessarily the main problem - gonna be pretty windy!!!! Quote
Guest Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 I usehttp://uk.weather.com/weather/10day-Matlock-DE4but can't say it's 100% correct, I don't think any of them are! Quote
Stu Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Well the weather was deciding if I bring the bike or not but I might just bring it anyway it will cost nothing to pull it behind the car! Quote
techno Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Well the weather was deciding if I bring the bike or not but I might just bring it anyway it will cost nothing to pull it behind the car! megawatt Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 What yorbandit said. Don,t worry about the weather! Forecasts are usually crap and if it does rain, just park the bike and drink more alcohol. hic! Quote
Guest Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 They've just forecast torrential rain for the weekend! Quote
Decor58 Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 I use the met office's forecast since it's where most of the other get their information (I believe) and it's generally OK, it also gives quite a good breakdown of the weather over the next 24 hours with a reasonable degree of accuracy. Quote
bex Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 i not bothered what it says, i went and nearl bought some new wellies today though to bring with me but they didnt have any in my size lmao Quote
