Susieque
Be warned though, many insurance companies still take them into consideration up to 5 years after you got them, even though they're not on your licence anymore!!
mealexme
Be warned though, many insurance companies still take them into consideration up to 5 years after you got them, even though they're not on your licence anymore!! but if they aren't on your licence and you say you don't have any can they prove otherwise? What's the point of the government split of 3 and 4 years? I'm confused.
Tango
Unless it's D&D.....they stay on the license for 10 years then.....

Failure to disclose a material fact to your insurer can lead to your policy being invalidated, even if they don't ask the question you still have an obligation to disclose. GazW
My license came back clean!! Apparantly its only date of conviction if it resulted in a ban. What would happen with declaring points to an employer? I still want to try and break into the haulage industry, and I figured driving a van would be the best place to start and build up experience. Hopefully somewhere that also has a fleet of class 2 vehicles so I can make that step up within a company. When a job is advertised as requiring a clean license what do I say? It is but you'll have to declare them to your company insurance?
Stu
i dont have to declare my points to work! only if i get banned just be honest with them if you have no points on there then its clean
