Raym Posted April 5, 2012 Share Posted April 5, 2012 Hi GuysA lad at work kindly gave me a tank bag that sits on with magnets attached inside the flaps . As my bike only has a small nose screen above the head light i was wondering if there is any chance it may fly off . Squidward Posted April 5, 2012 Share Posted April 5, 2012 As long as your fuel tank is steel you should have no problems with security, BUT every time you're going to attach it just check that the magnets haven't 'picked up' any odd grains of metal as I scratched my tank the first trip I did with it !. I use the headstock strap for security, but never had the bad so much as move. Great bit of kit. Works well on the tail, too with straps...I use some of that non-slip matting you can get for dashboards to protect the tank otherwise it'll rub.
