(just for research ) Quote

TC Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 route 2 for me then, though I might want to stop at bakewell on the way back for a tart I'm sure we can sort out a tart stop on the way through Quote
OhJay Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Don't go into Bakewell asking for a tart, you'll get some funny looks.Ask for a pudding instead Quote
Remy Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I'd like to do either of these, unless too hungover or it's p*ssing down! Quote
Harrydh3 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I like the sound of that TC, I can't claim to stick to the speed limit, but I don't really want to HAVE to speed just to keep up! going by the comments route 1 seems to be the one to go for Quote
dink78 Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I'll be pootling along on a 125 and more than happy to tag along just so long as i'm not holding anyone up who wants to go faster Quote
Tango Posted July 4, 2012 Posted July 4, 2012 I'll be pootling along on a 125 and more than happy to tag along just so long as i'm not holding anyone up who wants to go fasterHey Dink.....I think route 2 would be OK for you. I've volunteered to run Tail-end Charlie on that run.....so we'll just go round at whatever speed you are comfortable with. If anyone gets too far ahead they'll have to wait for us...... I think there may be a few 125's on that route......but given the roads round there they will be plenty quick enough......and it's all about having a nice run and enjoying being out on the bike with other bikers.....not a lap of the TT Quote
Tango Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Splashed out on a Tom-Tom......not the bikey one as it's a silly price.... Any chance of getting the TYRE routes for the rideout sent across please TC?Cheers...... Quote

TC Posted July 8, 2012 Author Posted July 8, 2012 Cheers Rushwind I will probably take you up on that offer. As long as some people in each group have an idea where they are going it should (hopefully) run smooth.I've got printouts of the both routes with maps and directions for everyone as well.fingers crossed for decent weather Quote
