Thanks Guys, I'll PM you my number.

Picking Rhiannon up from Uni on the Thursday evening but I think she's seeing her Dad on the Friday. Will get everything pitched in the afternoon then probably get Rhiannon and Callum - knowing my luck I could have three tents to pitch (or one big one and Rhiannon's 2-man)!

Does anyone know the earliest you can get on site?

Hey Lou, I'll almost certainly have the car with me on site on the Sunday as I need to drop my son off at an outward bound thing and I'll have to get everyone's tents home (in fact I probably won't see that much of the show Sunday). Most likely take the bike home on Sunday morning and pick up the car. If you can get yourselves to Huntingdon, I could give you a lift perhaps?

Lou...i think you need a scary bird on an R6 as an escort ....i really think you should try a longer journey and not give in to the fear by pulling over every time you feel uncomfortable/panicky, you're not giving yourself time to settle in ..happy to come ride with you, ( and believe me im not fast at all, there would be no pressure, but a noisy R6 does tend to give a bit more road presence)

Cat - Maybe.......I dunno. I really despise public transport and I miss biking so much. I think we should plan to bike it...

I'm gonna go out with Ollie a couple of evenings this week, then on Saturday maybe bike somewhere completely different and quite far, see how it goes. I really am trying, I just keep having hardcore panics, then going so slow I put myself and Ollie in dodgy situations (cars dangerously overtaking the 2 of us etc). It really is bloody hard getting back to biking, despite trying to remain positive and really keen, the slightest things disconcert me constantly and I freak out and think I'm gonna come off :bike: (even sitting as a passenger in cars I'm shitting myself if I watch the road!). I'd love to go out on a ride with you - you'd die of boredom though as I chugged slowly behind on my 125  .

Bonniebird - thankyou so much for the offer. How about this, if by Saturday I don't manage to do a 1hour journey somewhere away from Cambridge on roads I've not been on before, can Ollie and I take you up on your v kind offer. I wasn't hinting, I was more ranting...forgot you lived nearish! You star :thumb: x

Almost feel tempted to camp if we did come...I did my mock exam today and did really well, so I don't necessarily need the whole weekend to revise anymore. Would be less epic if it was spread over 2 days....hmmmmmm!!

IT'S OFFICIAL, WE'RE GOING! Bought the tent, and me a sleeping bag, Wolls already has one. Ollie has a service in Bedford Saturday am-early afternoon, then he's heading to Cambridge and we'll set off, prob be there early eve.

Cat: You guys will have already had a ma-hoosive journey, honestly it's fine - we will get there. May just need a couplea breaks on the way. Derek called moo and gave some advice and made me realise it's only just over 30 miles: 3 times my journey to work that I can bike ok-ish to! It's do-able.

If possible, saving us a pitch would be awesome - if not no problem, we will meet up with you all  can't wait!!! x

Can't wait ! We will be ok buying camping tickets at the gates Sat won't we?! (We're likely to turn up early eve on Saturday depending on when Ollie's bike service is finished and how easily we get there!). No link to buy online now: http://bmf.skiddletickets.com/events.php :notworking:

Quite a few people turn up on the Saturday so I think you should be fine

There wasn't a huge benefit in booking in advance online because they add a £3 per person booking fee.

Ill be there on sunday. aiming to get there for between 11 and 12 - ill keep an eye out for anyone i recognise.

Moo is your hair still bright red?

It's kind of a shitty copper atm. I'm trying to wash out the red so I can bleach it and have it white to be black & white and match my new bike  .

PM me your phone no if ya like, we can all meet up for banter over lunch or something. Unless Ollie and I are struggling with choosing gear! We both want a lot of stuff. You after anything in particular? I want 1 or 2 pairs kevlar jeans, a new jacket, new boots (prob from the EVERYTHING'S A FIVER tent again if it's there!), possibly saddle bags, back protector...some stickers? Dunno what else

Cool I'll keep an eye out.

im after a leather jacket for the summer that will probably never arrive. that and maybe a nice quiet touring helmet. Theres nothing i particularly need, but everything there is so cheap its a case of want instead. just gotta remember i only have so much room in the box and backpack again, i impressed myself last year with what i managed to bring back.

I've set a budget so we'll see how long that lasts too.

who all went then was thinking about it but was going out for dinner so didn't bother didn't need to buy anything so may have been a waste of money. Hope all who went had a good time

I went, picked up the leather jacket i was after and all.

met up with 7 others from the forums for a drink, bumped into bonniebird and tango again whilst wandering through the stalls. was a good day, loads more stalls than the tail end show show too.

Made it early on Sunday with Sam and met Cat/Ohjay. Sorry peeps for shooting off, got distracted looking at another bike and next thing I`m off somewhere else. Must be old age. Was going to cancel meeting up with mate but got back from holiday at 2.50am that morning and by 11.15 was feeling like shite, hot and Knackered so went home. Seemed to be a few more traders than other years so would have been good if you need kit.
