Guest
Hello, I'm hoping to find a bike, or what's left of it, that my dad went travelling on back in 1962.I'm looking for any help or information, however small that anyone may have. His 80th birthday is later this year and I'm hoping to get together what I can as a present. This is a bike that is very dear to his heart and here is the information I have about it: A green BSA B31 350cc which I believe was a 1958 model. It was bought (1960ish) from and sold back (probably after 1963) to a shop called Phillips in Aldershot. I found some information about a shop called Phillips Bros. http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/Phillips_Brothers There was some sort of tap fitted to the tank to take fuel for cooking on! The number plate was SOU OneOne5 (obscured to keep it a surprise in case he searches for it - the Ones are 11) He mounted a custom built side car so there may be some brackets on the bike. http://oliverpolden.com/sites/default/files/images/dads-bike.preview.jpgIf you have any information or know anyone that may, please let me know or share this with them.Ideally I'm looking to get in contact with anyone that encountered the bike and the owners/family of the Phillips Bros shop, but any information at all would be a great help.Thank you for any help you can give me.Oliver

Guest
Yes I have been looking into identifying the exact model But it wouldn't have the priceless memories etched in the scrapes and bumps!
