Put some in the bike in hope it would help it. Now it struggles to start. My dad thinks it's possible I have put too much in and flooded the spark plugs.

What do you guys think.

Redex, imo gets the varnish off but then seems to clog up the needles, I've had much better results with Wurth.

In the 'old' days, Redex was an upper cylinder lubricant. It lubed the valve guides and piston rings. There used to be a dispenser in most petrol stations and after you had put petrol in you gave it a couple of squirts into the tank. You paid something like 2p per squirt when you were paying for your petrol.

STP fuel cleaner is best.

Redex is good, but it's meant for cleaning an engine of light deposits, any heavy stuff just becomes a bigger problem down the line. I've heard a lot of mechanics swear by STP :)
