As a kid I would help him on bigger jobs at the weekend, but I did ENDLESS leafleting.Choose the right area, employing a gardener needs spare cash, you'll know which streets near you this might be.....the ones with the electronic gates and 24 hour private security When we were leafleting quite often people would see it come through the door then come outside and ask him for a quote for this that and the other there and then so be prepared to do that. He did usually get a fair number of phone calls too.He also gardens for a few people who have second homes near him and aren't there all the time, not sure how you find these people but definitely worth asking them. Present well, obviously you don't need to wear a suit but be reasonably clean
Joeman Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Good tip for leafletting is to offer some sort of incentive if they mention the leaflet. That way people feel they are getting a better deal, or they might hand it off to a friend, but either way its a good way to measure the effectiveness of your leafletting campaigns.No point dropping 1000 leaflets if you dont have a means of assessing the effectiveness of your advertising campaign.

Via royal mail But when funds come in ill do it both ways its best way to get jobs
Joeman Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Same idea applies to mail outs, you need a method to guage the performance of your mailshot otherwise you have no idea if the marketing is working.Ideally you want to know that for every 1000 you sent out, how many resulted in a call, and subsequently how many resulted in business.Without that you could be wasting your money..

I live in a 4 bed room house witch isn't a caravan.Everything i had looked into is legit! The pikey i know with a waste lisence at least he is doing it the right way in stead of fly tipping again he lives in a house not a site. I don't have a car or van atm he has a pick up for metal and porsche 911 you tell me whats bad about that and he pays his taxes being self emp. Payments are in checks so no dodging taxes there... So before you say pikey he is probley making more money then most people. Its not a job that id consider too many people consider normal people to being pikeys.

And if its not locked up or bolted down then it will be away before you know it. If they didn't nick everything on sight then people wouldn't have an issue with them. I once had my garage door open while I was sweeping it out as a f**king pikey went past in his van. He immediately stopped and backed up to have a look so I slammed the door shut and told him to f**k off. He said what did you say so I said you f**king heard. I then walked round the back of his knackered truck and started to type his reg number into my phone. He soon drove off. I then added more security to my garage.I also had an incident where I was sticking a new washing machine in the mother in laws. Some pikeys went past and said can we have the old one. I said no ( as they are like vermin and people shouldn't encourage them). He said why not so I said because I am sick of people like you driving round nicking everything. He started saying I was an evil nasty man and kept repeating it. So I kept agreeing with him as he tried goading me into swearing at him. Eventually he got bored of me saying you have already said that mate and I am bored now. So he drove off. So they are just thieving scum and this is why i wouldn't employ anyone who hasn't got a land line or an address which they can be contacted on.

Three weeks later they are still there!! I walk past them everyday. I'm thinking of putting a note on them saying "Please take me away" as they are making the street look untidy...

Its the romanians without waste licences and without morals that will weigh in your kids bike leant up against the garage door. Funny story.My old neighbour put a washing machine outside his house hoping it will be taken by someone and there it stayed for 2 weeks, he then put a sign on it saying £20 and it was gone in a couple days. The romanians who took it then promptly brought it back very frustrated that it was broken and began to lecture my neighbour on 'false advertising' hahahaha
