OOps, that should have been the north/east of Scotland, the Grampians. The north west will be in a couple of weeks time and Applecross is not on my planned route.

The far north east is also good. Stayed at Brora one year and drove the east side up to John o Groats and Dunnet head.

If you can make time to go through Applecross.

The weather this year has resulted in many a planned ride cancelled. Yesterday was monsoon.

Where, I was out and about yesterday on the Bullet, first to a Classic bike show and then on to Betws Y Coed wales, bit of a shower late afternoon on way back but what is a bit of rain.

Monsoon over Erskine. It was one of those rainstorms where gutters are overflowing and the bottom of our road floods.

Nice pub run by the TOGS! Now not that I like to be a snitch or anything,

I noticed one of the pictures was just of the number without a rider in gear or a bike on show.

Oh busted we rode to nine of them then later in the same day we got a bus to a random one in the middle with our numbers

No bike in picture, it does not qualify or we can all cheat.

But it's pretty clear we did one day massive run to get them all..

In all pictures there's a person missing as we needed someone to take the picture and some locations were a pain in the arse to get all the bikes close to the sign!

"We can all cheat" so, does this mean you actually think we 'cheated'.. On a forum game..

Some places you can't get to by bike. And the pub in question is across the road (literally) from another picture where we are all in our gear.

Frankly TOGS enjoy riding around and have better things to do than cheat on an internet challenge with no prize that unless you're Priest you're never going to "win"

Look what you've started now a mod will have to go through all the picture and weed out all those with no bikes, no clear signs etc etc

The scores stand because of the precedent set in previous years where you did not have to get your bike to certain tags, such as the Steve Hislop statue in Hawick. It was reached by path through a park. That got points for anyone who got their tag number to it. There was no disputing I had ridden there because either side were photos of my bike with its tag elsewhere in the borders. There is no dispute Hoggs etc were on their bikes doing the pubs.

I also take the point about one person holding another's tag because the other took the photo. That is a sensible and reasonable precedent to set.

What if I am on my own, I will only have the bike and number or if the tag is a walk from the bike only the number, what then

If you take a picture of your tag in front of it I will believe you were there If you want to take a picture of your bike with tag as close as you can as a backup proof then go for it!
