NeilM Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 I'll be less than smooth and clinical im my lorenzo lid on the ride to work in the morning. Quote
CGD217 Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Sure was another good performance from Lorenzo. Once he gets into a rhythm he disappears at the road. His rear tyre looked fairly good after the race too.Shame about Cal, but it's good to see Bradders and Scott Redding finish and getting in the points. Quote
Hoggs Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Yaay! Go Dovi! Forgot to clock what lap cal fell off on Quote
Six30 Posted March 21, 2016 Author Posted March 21, 2016 Yaay! Go Dovi! Forgot to clock what lap cal fell off on Think it was lap 6 or 7 , I wasn't far out....poor old cal Quote
Guest Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Some rumours flying round on social media (yet to be confirmed) that Rossi could have been blocking for Marquez as he never attempted a pass. Quote

I'm sure I saw a dummy fall out from Rossi's helmet when Marquez passed him. It appears that the Rossi fans have descended on the MotoGP Facebook page to present their usual structured and logical analysis of the situation:"I am Valentino fan!! I don't know any english!!! Marquez and Jorge can go suck big cock!! Vale is greatest!"Yes....that one's real! Some of the stuff coming out is priceless.....take a look at this one.....cos Marquez was blocking Rossi again apparently! http://www.motorcyclesport.net/pics/ss122.jpg Quote
Six30 Posted March 21, 2016 Author Posted March 21, 2016 we all got slow turtle brains like Marquez ..classic .it makes the racing more exciting, which in my book is all good, not so good for the Rose tinted glasses Rossi brigade Quote
Guest Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Word on the street was that Rossi was offered 10 million a year to renew! Despite having no titles since 2009.Jorge has been offered 6 million to renew despite the fact that he's World Champion and has given Yamaha 3 championships in 6 seasons.Seems to me that a rider's value these days is based primarily on their marketing potential rather than their riding ability. If I was Jorge I'd tell them to stick it and jump to Ducati.......who've put 12 million on the table! Quote
Six30 Posted March 25, 2016 Author Posted March 25, 2016 I'd like all the riders to ride the Ducati for one season .... Quote
Hoggs Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Yeah I don't really like stoner but hats off on how well he rode the ducati. Quote
Guest Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Apparently the Espargaro brothers did a demonstration ride through Buenos Aires yesterday......and didn't fall off! Hope nobody's sending Crutchlow out! Quote
Guest Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Gonna be wild in Argentina tomorrow......they've all been going down like skittles today! Quote
Hoggs Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Yeah turn 1 caught a lot out! Don't think any of us were surprised Cal was one of them........ Quote
CGD217 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Saw a couple of replays aOf Lorenzo and Marquez going down at turn one. What happened to Redding's rear tyre? Saw a headline about an issue but haven't looked into it.Good to see Sam Lowes qualify on pole. Cracking final lap from him. Quote
Hoggs Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Don't think there's anything official on readings tyre yet. They thought it was a blow out but then maybe hugger rubbing on the tyre and delaminated it. Ripped the back of the bike to shreds though Quote
Guest Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Redding's tyre completely delaminated apparently!Michelin put a cover over the back end so nobody could see how bad it actually was.Marquez took a fair knock to the head through whiplash.....there was no springing to his feet this time. Quote
CGD217 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Wow, it will be interesting then to hear the official report.Looks like Redding came off quite well then:Thumbs up for modern safety equiptment Quote
CGD217 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Just seen the below pop up on FB. Michelin have withdrawn all tyre options for the rear and are offering a new medium compound. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/sport/motogp/argentina-motogp-2016/michelin-withdraw-all-rear-tyre-options-for-race/ Quote
Hoggs Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Well that should mix it up! Unless it does rain. In which case it will still mix it up Quote
Guest Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Rain......unpredictable track, and an unknown tyre? Is it even worth the Espargaro's, Miller, Crutchlow, Smith, Marquez, Iannone, and Baz going out? Quote
Hoggs Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Hahaha harsh but fair Hopefully ianonne will finish as he's in my fantasy league team.... Quote
MR_W Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Bit harsh lumping Smith in with miller and crashlow. Quote
Six30 Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 Crutchlow off lap 7 or 4 if it's raining. Quote
