Joeman Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I noticed yesterday that i've worn out the palm of my right glove, and it's now got a small hole in it.They've done well - ive had them for many years, and they weren't expenive when i bought them, but they've been so comfy i've never bothered to replace them.Im thinking of getting some of these new Alpine Start SP-Air gloves... anyone got/tried them??https://www.jsaccessories.co.uk/buy/SP-Air-Gloves/21455.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Not cheap, but look good quality. Stu Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 They look bloody good value for money!! is that the place you ordered them from too? Yes they are only round the corner from me it is my second pair of raven gloves and no complaints with the first pair well except don't let the missus leave them in the top box wet as they go mouldy and stink resulting in the need to buy a new pair Quote
Valko Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Lindstrands Flex gloves are the most comfty gloves ever:http://www.bykebitz.co.uk/lindstrands-flex-glove.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Also they are CE approved. Not too many gloves have that. Quote

Mr Fro Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 I have these http://www.intogear.net/rayven-pulse-leather-glove-black.ir" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;I was going to say Racer High Racer - first set lasted 10 years and are very good in the event of an unplanned dismount. £100 more than the Rayven jobbies though so hard to justify really. Not too many gloves have that. Do they get too hot in summer? Not at all Joe. In fact they are suitable for summer only, because they have plenty textile between the leather and are too cold for now. Previous gloves I am 3xl or 2xl these I am a medium but I like them... Actually I had the same ARMR gloves and they are very comfty. Very good value for money The only reason I replaced them is I wanted something with more palm protection. My experience from low sides is I slide on the tarmac with my palm first. Mind you I havn't crashed with ARMRs or Lindstrands yet. My tarmac experience was with cheap Spada and Halvarssons Primus mitten. Both holded well. Spada not so well got tears but protected me just fine. The Primus mitten is with non-existing protection whatsoever except the leather. Does not have a scratch on them go figure http://www.motolegends.com/gloves/halvarssons-primus-mitten-black.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Quote

Ive just got a set of these after you recommending them a while ago. Cant fault them and amazon are selling them at just under £100. Quote
