Oasis
I've been a little disappointed with the performance of the brakes on ny 2014 triumph explorer. It's only now and again and after trying a few different bikes. Any advice on ways to upgrade the brakes? Are there aftermarket companies like you get for cars? bonio
Braided hoses are normally the first thing. They make quite a bit of difference, giving you more bite and more precise control. But you may already have them fitted, and I don't know what you can do easily after that. Mr Fro
You only really need to think about lines after a good few years when they start to give a little.Swapping out the pads for quality items can make a world of difference and it's quick, easy and relatively cheap. Will look into it tomorrow.

Stu
I wouldn't bother on a 14 plate bikeI would change the pads first as someone may have put some cheap ones in! and whilst in there I would give the calipers a little clean up and make sure all pistons move freely
ThePhatomfart
Have you looked at Brembo Master cylinders, brakes and lines, bloody expensive but do a cracking job

Guest
EBC HH sintered Agreed. Also try applying the brakes really hard and quickly for a few times - best done away from traffic - to scrub off any glazing.
