Noble Dave Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Replacing my front and rear wheel bearings and been quoted £6 each bearing total £24, that about right as sounds too cheap Quote
Gerontious Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Fowlers have them at £15 each... but these will be genuine Honda. It wouldnt surprise me at all if Pattern bearings were less than half price of the originals. Quote
Noble Dave Posted April 1, 2019 Author Posted April 1, 2019 Ah kk ta, never bought any for a motorbike before sowernt sure about price, shoukd be good right? Not from china as checked Quote
fastbob Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Cheap bearings are cheap . They are also relatively easy to fake so either buy good quality bearings from a reputable supplier or genuine Honda. The code for a bearing is written on it and is usually something like 6003/2 for example. Quote
Noble Dave Posted April 1, 2019 Author Posted April 1, 2019 Aye these are from a actual motorbike seller garage not random site so... Hopefully picking them up tomorrow a d they are good will check for numbers on side Quote

If you buy reputable bearings, eg. SKF, Timken etc. from a bearing factor, it removes the uncertainty. And they will be able to tell you what bearings will fit what. Quote
megawatt Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Too cheap. Buy OEM or a good make like SKF from a local bearing supplier. Quote

ThePhatomfart Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Never had a problem with Wemotohttps://www.wemoto.com/bikes/honda/cbr_600_fx/99/picture/front_wheel_bearing_kit_with_dust_seals Quote
JustaTwist Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 I always use David silver spares for my Honda. You get the choice of genuine or OEM. Just had a quick look for your bike and the genuine Honda bearings are £12.50 so for that price I personally wouldn’t bother with anything else. Quote

By the way Wemoto is short for World's End Motorcycles and if you are old fashioned and don't like to click to add to cart , you can still phone the friendly telesales team . Quote
Noble Dave Posted April 1, 2019 Author Posted April 1, 2019 Just got some front and back £37 so all good Quote
