I think someone has amended it - there's nothing particularly funny on there when I looked at that date.

I can't believe that is a FAIL. If I had to hazard a guess, I would imagine it's because speed cameras can't catch you when you're speeding away at high speeds!

not having a number plate light on a car is a fail .

yet on a motorbike it's not ( or didn't use to be )

YET ... it is a offence that police can issue a ticket against

Really? Does not make sense as on a bike the reg plate is only visible in the back and the only way the Police will know who you are is on that plate? Mandatory for car and not bike sounds illogical! Like who is making up these laws.

Yep weird how mot said if not working its a pass and construction and use says if fitted must work..

However i do now seem to recollect this was updated in the changes to mot that bike will fail .on this .

Still love the fact that i can display a front plate on my 96 cbr600 if i so wish ..
