I’m watching this Bruce Lee film on Amazon Prime.

But .... I’m sure that when I first watched it in the seventies it didn’t have the bloody awful American over dubbing.

Am I wrong?

To be honest it’d be better muted or with sub titles rather than this American shite

If you were a kid you weren't paying attention to the dubbing. Just learning how to kick your mates in the head

I had a similar thought about A Clockwork Orange.

I distinctly remember a scene in the original where they beat up a shop keeper which isn't in the current cut. I can't find any info about it either. :?

Didn’t get into doing that until I was about 15 ... Kick boxing in Howard Browns school.

I don't remember that film specifically but yeah his early films were like this and it kind of surprised me first time I watched them, but no big deal for me.

Will check this out. At first I thought you meant the movie Warrior with Tom Hardy in it. Hadn't heard about this series. 👍

The Hawk! For those that don't know it would be like Barry Sheene teaching you how to ride a bike

Yep, but without the flamboyance.

Never realised how devastating he could be until I watched him in a competition (Olympia I think), he totally destroyed his opponent, had a higher level of respect for him after that.
