jedibiker Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 Part of my plan when cleaning the air filter etc soon was to replace the inline fuel filter that is found under the tank. Its a carb bike so this is the only fuel filter.when looking to buy new, I couldn't really find any that were specific to the bike but saw a lot looking the same. My question is will it matter if its different or made for a small car as long as fits?Oh and bike runs ok I just dont know when it was last changed.cheers Quote
Tiggie Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 eBay has loads of them from what I've just seen including an original OEM one but that was based in Germany Quote
jedibiker Posted May 2, 2020 Author Posted May 2, 2020 Did you search for bandit filter or just fuel filter.?I would think any that fit a 1000cc car will work fine on a bike, but i could be wrong. usually am apparantly lol Quote
Stu Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 As long as it fits and can deliver the right flow then any will be fine Quote
Tiggie Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 I just searched Bandit 650 fuel filter https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=bandit+650+fuel+filter&_sacat=0 Quote
Stu Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Price up an injector or 4 that you can't unblock £20 is a small price to pay Quote
Tiggie Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Instead of replacing you could just spray a crap ton of Carb cleaner in there. You said the bike was running anyway Quote
