manxie49 Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 This guy is having a really shite day! Certainly highlights the issues some riders have with riding in high winds. I used to certainly feel the winds when I was riding the Tenere. Quote
raesewell Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 I have ridden from Brugge to Amsterdam in 40 to 50 MPH winds but this guy was out in a bloody hurricane. Quote
Marino Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 I recognise that road it’s in Croatia, Karlobag to Senj section. It’s fantastic road to race when not busy. Perfect corners and surface. But when windy, usually is closed for everything except cars. Wing blows 60mph easily with gusts up to 120 Quote
fastbob Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 (edited) I wonder whether there are warning signs at the bottom of the pass ? If there were , maybe no one could read them because some selfish twats had " Sticker Bombed " them . This is what has happened at Bealach na Ba . Go up there with the wrong vehicle in the wrong conditions and you can end up in a world of trouble . Edited August 25, 2020 by fastbob Quote
125cc Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Ah yes. Sticker Louts and Graffitists. The bane of our lives in the Highlands. Between smiley faces, political/conspiracy theorist/nutjob stuff, "Yes" propaganda stickers by the Separatists, its a mess.Along with some sad prat who's painted "Flat Earth" on the back of literally every single road sign on the A9 from Perth to Thurso. Some folk can't be allowed out for public safety... Quote
