Apologies.

People aren't being facitous, but we have been down the path of MC, MCC, RC etc numerous times and believe me some of the poster asking needed to be in a club with 1 member.

Decide the way you want to go and then research from there.

Ok , just making sure . As I said earlier , these days it's a case of joining a Facebook group and looking out for events and rideout's or organising them yourself . You can be a member of multiple groups based on location or a single bike model or whatever . There's no real need to be in a club because before you know where you are there will be subscriptions , meetings , committees , rules and all that garbage . Alternatively , you just start regularly attending your local bike meets and get talking to people . You will soon start to learn what goes on in your area .

I belong to Suffolk Riders... it's a RoSPA group, but the thing that works for me is that they do great ride outs: minimum faff, and taken at a brisk, engaging pace. I find riding with gives my riding a bit of a lift, and I end up riding more fluidly.

Not all RoSPA or IAM groups offer that kind of thing (where I used to live, they didn't), but you could do worse than check what out your local groups are like.
