Porridge
I’ve currently got 80/100-18 tyres on my cb125. Can I and or should I upgrade them to something a little chunkier/ wider so I’ve got a little more contact with the road. With my old cbr125 I had a bit more confidence with the handling. I feel that it was because of the tyres being bigger I had more trust in it. Something just doesn’t feel right about my cbf
Stu
Hi and welcome to the forum Fitting wider tyres can actually decrease the contact patch due to the rim being too small for them! They pull the tyre in altering the radius
Bender
Welcome. Good tyres the right size is what you need, crap tyres and old tyres can be very detrimental to grip, handling and confidence.
