Carburettor problems

was wondering if anyone could give me some help or advice ! im new to biking and have just brought a lexmoto Arizona 125. I had a friend come over who knew about bikes and he said that my carburettor needed a clean so i took it off, cleaned it and put it back on. But since I've put it back on something weird has happened ... my choke and accelerator have switched. so now when ever i use my choke, i accelerate and when ever i want to accelerate my choke comes on. Any tips on how to get it back to normal?

Sounds like you put the choke cable and the throttle cable on the wrong way somehow

is this an easy thing to fix or should I get a mechanic to take a look ?

Trying not to be rude, you are the one who took it off and did it.

So how hard is it to undo?

I would also be concerned what else you did?

Tiggie's right. Probably just switch the cables over and see if it's fixed.

In future it's always a good idea to take pictures before you take things apart.

But it sounds like you have mixed the cables up.
