Gerontious Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Mine lives outside under a cover. It has been fine over 4 winters plus the various lockdowns. Don’t fret about it, especially if it’s in a garage, Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Give it a coating of ACF50. Inflate the tyres to full pressure and if possible get it up on paddock stands. From time to time turn the ignition on but don't start the engine, it will cycle the fuel pump. They don't like not running for weeks on end. Fill the tank with E5 petrol. It keeps better than E10. A full tank avoids condensation. 2 Quote
Pie man Posted October 1, 2022 Posted October 1, 2022 Lather it in ACF50 then get it used, otherwise they turn to dust over winter Quote

Ride smoother becarefull of dirt on roads, particularly after rain. Cold roads have considerably less grip. Wash the salt of after each ride. Get some decent gear and waterproofs for yourself. Oil the chain more frequently, As others have said ACF50 is your friend. If it's white or snowy or icy, it's best not to take the bike. Edited October 3, 2022 by onesea Quote
Richard Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 If you can’t get the wheels off the concrete floor, just use a couple of carpet samples, it just stops the cold creating flat spots Quote
