rennie Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 I appear to have lost the switch cover somewhere! Any ideas where to get 1? Without having to buy the whole thing preferably Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Are they manufacturer fitted or aftermarket? If you can find someone with the same grips, and then someone with a 3D printer, you may be able to fabricate a replacement. 1 Quote
rennie Posted June 8, 2023 Author Posted June 8, 2023 I'm not sure! I think they're Honda fitted but I'll have to do some research. I've just spent about an hour looking on the garage floor and inside the bike cover to no avail I didn't even know I had heated grips till I turned them on by accident and wondered why my hands were hot! 2 Quote
Stu Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 There is a simple answer to this! If they are factory fitted you will not be able to buy the switch seperately! If they are aftermarket you still won't be able to buy the switch seperately! 3 Quote
Old-codger Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 Is this any good ????? Honda VFR 1200F Switch housing replacement for OEM Heated Grips | eBay 1 1 Quote
rennie Posted June 9, 2023 Author Posted June 9, 2023 Thank you very much! I think that might fit but it looks different to the 1 I had mine was smaller, all black, with a red LED. I'll see what else I can find Quote
Gerontious Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 (edited) Definitely look oem and to a degree the same as mine though there are no visible wires on mine. Red light when on plus level displayed on the instruments. Flash a few times when shutting down too. I suspect they’re an accessory made for Honda added either at or after purchase. mine. bonio Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 I think I'd just slap on some sugru and be done with it. 1 Quote
rennie Posted June 10, 2023 Author Posted June 10, 2023 That's close too! but mine were simpler! I think any hopes I have of just clipping the correct cover back on are long gone already! They actually still work! I tried yesterday mine have off, low, and high. ( I think) Quote
