Anyone Have A Motorcycle Dash Cam?

Recommended Posts

I have the Vantrue F1 front/rear setup. 4k front, 1080  rear. App on phone and you're good to go. Integrates with google maps so you can see your travels in the map. Easy to setup and just recently I trapped the rear camera cable when I fitted my rear rack. Vantrue support sent me a brand new unit from China in less than three weeks, no questions asked even though I offered to pay. Brilliant aftersales service.

Had an Innov system on my GS which I never had an issue with but I sold it when I sold the bike.

Think I'll get one of these to put on my tiger which includes cameras and CarPlay https://abikething.com/product/chigee-aio-5-lite-motorcycle-smart-riding-system-bundle/

I tried getting one of those off AliExpress for about £85. Stuck in customs for 3 weeks then cancelled and refunded. Oh well, nothing ventured etc...

I've been using the Mercylion M3500 for about 2 years also with great results. It has high-resolution video recording, and supports external power sources for continuous operation. Plus, it has a parking mode feature for added security.

Great Results …clarify what that means please … we have cctv at our house …. It allows us to watch our car being stolen again and again …. Didn’t stop it or apprehend the thieves ….

I had an Innovv K3 on my Versys 1K before I gave up biking. Great price of kit. Fit and forget. Runs off the ignition and loops the video.

^^^ What the man said ^^^

Mine's been swapped between two bikes and done over 25,000 miles. Hard wired, discrete, good quality (especially the colour coded connectors) and as far as I'm aware it's never missed a beat. Obviously it's not an action cam like a GoPro attached to your helmet, but as a fit & forget, always working in the background, it just does its job.
