AndyW Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I did an FBoS course a few weeks back..........well organised, very good presentation and 'practical' exercises, recommended! Basically it teaches you what to do if you come across a bike 'crash', such as assessing the situation, making safe, what action to take and how and when to remove a helmet, also CPR, logrolling and recovery positions.Everyone on the course I attended found the course interesting and beneficial, hopefully we will never need to use our new found skills but who knows? Guest Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Hi Andy... some members did our own arranged FBoS course, and this is a follow on from that. I felt I needed more first aid knowledge at the scene and wanted to go more in depth with that.Anything that can help us safe a life has got to be good, but like u say, I just hope we never have to use it. TC Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Sorry Vicki just forked out £50 for a bike safe course Quote
Guest Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 lol no need to be sorry, just something that was asked for... if we dont get enough people, it dont run.. no probs Enjoy your course... let us know what its like Quote
