Got my test tomorrow morning in Croydon and i just had one question about filtering.

I'm guessing that filtering during your test is a no-no but would the examiner be expecting me to do it if the traffic is stationary?

You do not need to filter on your test. It is perfectly acceptable to sit in traffic. If he questions you, then you say with your experience you did not feel it would be safe.

If though, you can filter and it's safe to do so, it can be good brownie points on your test..... Of course if you stick yourself in a dangerous situation then it has the opposite affect.

Play it safe and don't filter.

Yup, was told by my instructor to NEVER filter on my test. He said that it wont give you any minors if you dont nor will it take any off if you do it correctly but he will if you do it incorrectly.

Anyway, surely sitting in traffic is better....less time to make any mistakes :P

Passed :D :D :D

Got 4 minors, the were for missing a couple of should checks and indicating off a roundabout too early.

But otherwise it was all good so i was out on the new (too me) NC30 last night. Was loving it :D :D

nice one! where was the centre you did your test with, in Croydon? I'm close to there and already saving for my Big Test and Big Bike...
