mine are due to be changed at 32,000 miles.
Massive difference in 8 and 32k! it just makes no sense
I suspect yours use iridium plugs? those are supposed to be rated for 50k

Got my monies worth out of them, should be changed every 8000 miles
I often find that the service interval of plugs seems a little low to be honest

Plugs don't look that health

It wasn't!
I've been waiting all season for him to be more aggressive, as he always let the other guys push him around, yet he doesn't return the favour. There was nothing in that incident that warranted any penalty.
Bridewell's one was far worse, it actually caused injury, yet his penalty was far less severe and he actually ended up on the podium. Absolute nonsense.
What gets me is two different riders went up the inside of him! So was he taking a different line and slow as bridewell said?

Not one like that but I have fitted cheap once!
It did exactly that immobilised the bike

Yeah I’m thinking 35 to 40 on the straight. I probably slacked off when approaching the brow. It is a good point OneSea made
Well the saying is "ride at a speed you are able to stop at the distance you see"
you managed that

I think the only difference I would have done is maybe being going a bit slower in those conditions but that's only going on your description actually being there might have been different
You stayed on and thats all that matters

Did anyone watch this weekends racing

It should be registering something if not you have a major issue like a holed piston of stuck/bent/broken valve
In which case it would only really be running on one cylinder
-
I think its the chain!
A good way to check is to measure a set amount of links about 15 would do
Measure 15 links in different locations and see if you get the same measurement
-
As above I would have told them then they don't have the issue and expense in the future
