its only fairly recently that the price has come down, they are a LOT cheaper in the USA.

 

But, if you think thats expensive, you should see the price of a replacement OEM battery. Best price £524 + post.  fortunately there are now pattern replacements.

The last time I bought some they was just from halfords

I suspect yours use iridium plugs? those are supposed to be rated for 50k

I think the only difference I would have done is maybe being going a bit slower in those conditions but that's only going on your description actually being there might have been different

It should be registering something if not you have a major issue like a holed piston of stuck/bent/broken valve 

In which case it would only really be running on one cylinder 

I think its the chain! 

A good way to check is to measure a set amount of links about 15 would do 

Measure 15 links in different locations and see if you get the same measurement 

As above I would have told them then they don't have the issue and expense in the future

Is anyone going to the NEC Bike show?
