    Exhaust Baffles

    excellent well done now enjoy
  4. Never had a problem with any datatool alarm
  5. buy 5 litres it will probably only take 3-3.5 but then you will have some for top ups dont just sling 3 litres in either put some in check the level and go on like that till its got enough oil in
  6. Just remember when you fill the oil the level is supposed to be between the two lines if you go to the high side you may find that it will be spat out the crank case breather in to the air box
  7. If its due a service then service it but if its not due don't bother if you dont know at what mileage the bike was last serviced then I would do it so you know its done and take a note of the mileage the sight glass been murky is normal for this time of year and only going short runs...if you get chance to go for a decent run it will soon clear up as for oil I would check the manual but it will probably be 10w40 semi synthetic
  8. Nothing new there then Ian I will be mostly home alone as the missus is away for the weekend with work Got jobs to do on the bike but its wet at the min!!
  9. your doing something wrong read the manual I have had 3 datatool alarms 2 system 3's and I now have a S4 I take my battery off a fair few times without it going off you need to set it to immobilise only not fully armed then remove the battery
  10. So its a piece of shit because it uses battery power!! err ok then! simple solution take the battery off until you start using the bike more regular

different tone from a bike you probably wont have any bother also wear ear plugs it stops you going deaf from the wind noise and will drown out your can
  13. Just pull the fuse... job done. If you pull the fuse on the datatool it immobilises the bike!!

Wheel bearings are pretty easy to do the hardest part is taking the wheel off if you can manage that then you will easily get the bearings out

I think its a 30 quid fine at worse you can't get points for it unless that's changed! I wouldn't worry too much about it to be honest
  18. As above If your going to do it you need to wire in some relays otherwise you could have a fire!

could be something to do with the freezing fog and the disks been cold! they could have been misshaped by the cold and once you got some heat in them you couldn't feel it again

A ten mile ride might not be enough to charge a totally flat battery but I suspect with it been left so long I recon you will need a new battery
  23. Now get pins with two r clips in so the pin doesn't come out the other side
