  1. I have never thought of doing this! I have a few bottles in the garage I may give it a go although to be honest I haven't had an issue with just washing the wheels as I would the bike

  3. I will let the neighbours know that the riff raff will be about then
  4. This "professional" detailer I speak of also says everyone should use waterless cleaning products! I couldn't think of anything worse to be honest! I like to get as much off as possible first then use plenty of water on a mitt
  5. @NeilM Kraken works
  6. You could buy me some more JD to go with them instead Although I do have some Kraken! BRB
  7. The jet washing always causes a stir when people mention it I belong to a local facebook group for bikers and there a detailer on there who put a photo on of a someone snow foaming a motorbike with the caption of "This is not a professional wash this is just laziness snow foam is not for motorbikes and neither is jet washing" I then questioned it basically asking for evidence of such a statement and the reasons why it bad for a bike! He then deleted the post and never answered me! So is that admission that snow foam and jet washing is fine for bikes? after all if a "professional! cant give me the reasons why its not then it must have been a false advert he put out there! I have snow foamed my bike and jet washed it a lot I also did a test many years ago that I did post on here where I got two sealed wheel bearings and I jet washed them at point blank range and they never let a drop of water in past the seals! When you bear in mind you have a wheel bearing then a dust seal how can jet washing be dangerous to the wheel bearings like people claim? Electrics yes you have to be a little mindful but if you are using a jet wash in such a way that water is being pin pointed to one spot then things will go wrong! You just have to be mindful and simply not too close Discuss...........

  10. Unfortunately they don't do an end can for my bike otherwise I would have got one too I could have got any can and got a link pipe made but I couldn't be arsed to mess about
  11. As I said she asked no questions!! I then said which can do you like out of these ones! showing her pics Her reply was "you have just fitted an exhaust haven't you?" I think it was at this point that I realised I should just keep quiet and walk away and order the one I liked!
  12. Hey Al hows it going?
  13. Ordered some black widow downpipes yesterday at around 4pm They was delivered today by 10 am which is pretty good service if you ask me I was expecting a huge box! but even the missus managed to take it in for me with no questions asked as to what it was Once opened and unpacked I surprised at the quality of them I whipped the stock ones off within about 20 mins with eagerness They all simply pushed together with a smear of exhaust sealer and two clamps which I left loose until the pipes where fitted They look thinner than the OE pipes but they are the same size They fitted perfectly with no issues whatsoever stock end can has been fitted for now I am awaiting delivery of a new can then I will see how it runs and more than likely get a power commander and a custom remap on it All this will improve rideability and low end power and smooth the power curve out
  14. Well I have fitted them and they never kicked me
  15. full license all the way for me! Don't waste time or money on a 125cc you will be far more comfortable on a larger bike

  21. Try this stuff https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262803774020?hash=item3d30535a44:g:aRIAAOSw44BYdqwo Also watch for any straps that touch too as when I had mine one of the straps marked the fairing and had to be hidden with a sticker
