  1. You will be shocked how much difference fairing can make but not every bike with fairing is brilliant! For example I have always ridden sports bikes up until 8 years ago. The fairing on sports bikes was good but to keep everything off you had to be tucked right in with your head down! if you sat up a little then the screen directed the air straight to your chest or with a double bubble screen straight to your head. My hands always suffered in cold weather as there was no protection at all. The FJR with electric adjustable screen was better and with a larger screen speeds of 90+ with the visor wide open proved the fairing and screen did a great job and kept most of the wind off. The mirrors are designed in such a way that it deflected the wind off your hands but you could still feel the cold! Heated grips helped The R1200rt on the other hand is like being in a car coldest I have seen is 3°c out and heated grips on setting 3 with summer gloves and my hands where still melting the heated seats made a great difference too but the fairing is great at deflecting the air flow coming from naked you will see a big difference in the smallest of fairing and I would recommend hand guards for winter
  2. Hi and welcome to the forum When did you pass your driving test? this will dictate if you have a moped licence or not
  3. Has the Land rover made it there without breaking down?
  4. Sorry about that!! Due to an upgrade on the server last night it updated PHP to version 8.0.17 which broke the forum for several hours! A temporary fix has been applied for now until a solution has been found.
  5. Exactly this its giving you the KM at when to do it for ease in miles its 600 miles 6000 miles 12000 miles 18 24 30 36 42 48 54 60 66 72 78 and so on This service interval is pretty much standard for most bikes
  6. Removed the exhaust servo motor today! Replaced it with this Everyone seems to just remove the lot then tie wrap the Exhaust Servo Eliminator (ESE) and wiring up and to the frame! But part of the casing has a holder for the wiring and for another wiring plug so I seperated the motor from the housing and refitted the housing with the ESE stuck to the inside of it and the wiring all held in place as it should be No more Exhaust servo valve error on the bike

I think a lot of people seem to forget that they are the union! not the reps! The reps are the ones who go in on your behalf its all about standing together

    P&O

Well it certainly makes you wonder if you should use them again!
  16. And that's the point I'm making! They don't care as long as you pay the finance off.
  17. No you don't you can settle at the time of sale. This is what happens if you trade a vehicle in that's on pcp As long as its paid they don't really care
  18. Yes you can! Providing you pay the full balance off once sold
  19. Bad idea in my opinion! I would be weighing up the options as to get a bank loan to pay the full lot off and then sell the bike and pay the loan back What happens if he writes the bike off and the insurance don't pay out for it? What happens if the bike is trashed and not worth anything at the end of the PCP? Too risky IMO
