  1. Over the past few days not today! I noticed some water ingress in my fog lights! Which is not good for a sealed unit! I stripped the lights down and removed the light unit and left it in the airing cupboard to dry out Inspected it for cracks etc and there was nothing! The only other way water can get in is by running down the cable and through the connector so I put liberal amounts of silicone grease on the connectors and adjusted the wiring to put a "U" bend in it to allow water to drip off
  2. Happy birthday @Ian Frog have a good day
  3. As an owner of the R1200RT I find it concerning that you find the R1250 heavy!! They are a really well balanced bike and the weight is distributed well and is low down I had an FJR1300 before this and it was at least 15kg lighter but is was more cumbersome and top end heavy and an absolute pig in slow moving traffic I think and adventure style bike will feel heavier due to how high the weight is
  4. It's worrying times o be honest
  5. I can relate to this! Oddly enough though ALL BMW riders now wave or nod at me and even talk to me local bike meets!! I'm trying to break the stigma by acknowledging everyone..... .....So far its failing
  6. Happy belated birthday @JackieOWheels
  7. Probably It was 36 front and rear on the TL!
  8. Used to used them on the TL1000S The only issue I had was the rear would slide a little when giving it loads! This was solved by running a slightly higher pressure of 38psi as apposed to 36psi Apart from that they worked well
  9. I suppose that would depend on the circumstances of the incident!
  10. Oddly only if you lift your visor up! as its not approved eye wear
  11. 20 years riding and never had a dark visor mentioned! I know an ex bike cop and he once told me they see them as a safety feature and at worst they would ask if you have a spare clear one I was once pulled over for being a little enthusiastic when on the way home I went flying down the road past a copper in a side street unbeknown to me! and over a flyover with the cop hunting me down! He pulled me over and asked what the rush was! My reply was I have a dark visor on and its getting dark I want to get home while I can see They went over the bike pulled me up about the small plate and loud pipe and for riding like a dick and said this is looking expensive for you isn't it! I nodded and agreed he said slow down and get home and sent me on my way No mention of the dark visor from him
  12. Mine must easily be 20 years old and still going strong! The gauge has been replaced by a bolt as it broke ad was useless but thats why I said to check with a decent gauge
  13. I agree! As the independent adjudicator I declare that picture void
  14. You're looking in the wrong place! Its on the main index and there is also one in each section that expands the view of the topics
  15. Yeah it took me ages to find those pics and sort out! Only to find no one has ever seen them
  16. I can see them on mobile they are there on the main index page
  17. They are on the main index page! Do you only use the streams buttons to look for latest posts etc?
  18. No I was thinking of removing them to cause confusion
  19. Does anyone use these buttons to change the view of the forum? I am wondering if they are worth having!
  20. Buy a foot pump? I have a large air 100 litre air compressor and also a tiny air compressor for touring like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Inflator-AA-Compact-Lightweight-Portable/dp/B07RSC13TZ But for just topping tyres up I just use my double piston foot pump! It doesn't take long to get a few psi in to a bike tyre with a foot pump and is far quicker than messing about with compressors no matter how big or small They buy a decent pressure gauge for checking the pressure
  21. If I am asked to remove my helmet then if I can I just go elsewhere simple!
