    when you get the bike take the exhaust off and measure the pipe then you can measure other cans to see what will fit some have different bores not all are the same

    as others have said it probably a bad connection on the horn the horn is right at the front above the wheel so gets covered in road crap and the connections will just corrode

  9. does it also smell of petrol ??? sounds a bit like fuel evaporation could also be a blocked fuel line/filter/pump not enough juice getting through

  12. it is basicly covering their own ass all bolts should be to a specific torque but not everyone uses a torque wrench even mechanics **if you was doing a full engine rebuild i would say get one but as its just the bolts on the tank im sure you would be ok to just tighten them up** i dont think your tank is going to come flying off when riding but if you dont use a torque wrench just recheck the bolts again after about 1000 miles or so **disclaimer dont blame me if it goes t*ts up

    that means the needle or jets need adjusting acordingly no bike or car should do that

    im guessing this is carbed ???? if so how many carbs has it got ? if it has two (one for each cylinder) they will probably need balancing
  23. good luck you will need it i find it pretty hard with a vice at times get as close to the rim as possible it makes it easier
