any oil filter is easy to put on as you should only put them on hand tight and 10/40 semi synthetic do not out fully synthetic in as it will get past the rings on an older bike

all i can say for you lot with rust buckets is...... ...buy a better bike mine is still rust free disks are ok chain is ok and i have been out on it and washed it and even put it away wet im telling ya suzuki is the way to go ohh and its 10 years old too

wahooooo...... ......sorted it im now £100 pounds lighter though i went and bought a new battery and charger and while i was there ordered some gaskets for my exhausts

well the battery lost its charge in 2 days and that was including a quick charge again between so looks like your right Nigel the battery is kaput

thanks for that nigel i charged the battery yesterday and it started the bike great left it for around 24 hours ( off charge ) and still started the bike i think im going to keep a eye on it and see what its like over the next few days to be honest i think the charger is past it as it was charged a little with the fast charger just enough to start the bike then left on the oximiser and it didnt improve just went dead i dont think the oximiser is putting a charge out i think i will borrow another charger and see

you sure ? a mate of mine had a 1996 fzr600r Genasis the one with the fox eyes This one is definatley a US model checked the frame number today, also it has the round headlights, so no way the fzr600r will fit not all are the fox eye though

got it in one unless its been put into silent mode like mine so the alarm wont sound when the battery is removed

its not the volts that kill ya its that amps and at 0.6 amps im not sure im prepered to do that

fuse is fine checked charger with multi meter and i get a reading of -0.42 volts my other charger i get 16 ish volts might just get a new battery and charger save scratching my head

might just go buy a charger and battery i recon its the battery to be honest as the charger has lights on to indicate what its doing and it shows as charging when plugged in but its only a trikle charger so the battery may not be losing more charge then what is been put in to it

had my battery on another charger for an hour or so and it charged started bike 4 or 5 times no trouble then started to go flat i think the charger is kaput

as above who knows how to test battery chargers my charger has been on for about 4 days now but battery is still flat i charged the battery for about 30 mins with another charger and the bike started fine then left it on my oxford one which is a posh trickle charger need to test it to see if its charging before buying a new battery!!!
