    very slight fluctuation. carbs need balancing up then pop round and i will do them

    i would get the carbs services and balanced up and check all fuel lines too what does it idle like when warmed up ? is it nice and smooth or do the revs fluctuate slightly ?

    so when was the last service done in the book ( milage ) and what is the milage now ? has it always done it or just started randomly

  6. i usually give my bike a good strip down and clean over winter and have it ready for summer but never had chance with me moving house and stuff like that
  7. nah clutch was spot on 8) i was half way down bev bypass and everything just went off engine cut out no lights indicators nothing pulled over and it all just came back on dodgy connector block gone a bit green was good to meet little Dave (not the bike the lad) too
  8. i really am thinking of sorting it and selling it now can get an R1 for next to nothing nowadays as every c*nt has one
  9. they dont usually check the numbers but technically the bike isnt legal so once the mot is done send the V5 off with the new numbers otherwise in a crash you could be in big trouble

    i had a problem like that it was behind the right hand upper fairing the main wiring harness to the headlights and clocks it was rubbing on the bracket for the fairing totolly forgot about that glad you sorted it

    at that price i would go to a local machine shop and ask them to drill the holes for you

    you need to drill it pretty slow Gary plenty of lube and keep the drill cutting best bet is a piller drill so you can get the pressure on it too
  15. if you can do it yourself it will be about £200 ish probably a lot less depends on the price of parts what motor is in it ?

    i bet you have water in somewhere it is the main fuse you are popping thats why it is totally dead once it goes you got any maintanence spray in the garage ? start spraying all electrical connectors starting with the main fuse,ignition and light switch it sounds like you have water somewhere sometimes mine wont turn over once its bad a bath

    its not broken down its just delayed a little more info will help what curcuit is the fuse on ? is it the starter relay fuse ? when is it popping ? all the time or just when the starter is hit ? Stu
