  17. i agree from seaways through ricall then towards howden then turn off towards elvington and follow that road its errrr nice and twisty and got a hump back bridge too brings you out at the roundabout at the top of the A64 where you then meet back onto the original route

    i have used all sorts of lube and every one of them ends up on the back wheel just use old engine oil you dont need loads but need to apply it more as for cleaning the back wheel WD40, chain cleaner, furniture polish with bees wax, GUNK theres loads more too
  20. you will only show us up "if" you clean the harley thats a big if for you mate
  21. removing the "for competition use only" and fitting the bands is classed as trying to evade the law and fraud and carries a big fine just leave them as they are and suffer the £30 fine and 7 day rectification notice if caught

    A newbie with a dilemma!

    why not use a training school's bike to do test on then you dont have to pay out for a new bike or even better do DAS would only cost a little more then the A1 but you will have a full licence and wont have to do it again when its harder you will have to do the same test as the A1 for DAS just on a bigger bike if starting from scratch it costs about £500 but you already have cbt and a few months riding exeprience so would be a lot cheaper Stu
