to stop carb icing you want silkolene proFST
-
they are worth it but you are best to get a more free flowing can and set up on a dyno as the fueling will need adjusting is your bike fuel injected or carb ? if its carb theres not many decent tuners into them now so is hard to get a decent tuner but most places will be able to do it though if they cant or dont want to they will give you silly prices expect to pay anywhere from £150 - £250 if its fuel injected you will need a power commander to adjust the fueling and they are £250 ish then setting up on the dyno too another £150 ish but well worth it Stu

Bike security -alarm/chains etc
Stu replied to Quentin's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
i would go for an alarm last two ground anchors one front one back two expensive short chains the shorter the better harder for theives to move around to try and cut try and get the chain through the frame and not just the wheels a chain though the wheel means they just remove the wheels and place bike in back of van alarms.... personally just get a cheap self fit one as the amount you pay for a decent one doesnt really give you enough discount on insurance to warrant it and at the end of the day a decent alarm going off in the back of a van is the same as a cheap one going off in the back of a van -
ive just got the chaser rolla the Dean Thomas rep
