  1. I blame us for being too nice because it's difficult to find the right trade, they're not being told to "F**k off" often enough. I'd be arranging for someone else.
  2. Thanks for sharing, it's been quite the restoration lesson, mostly "leave it where you found it". Seriously though, well done, you clearly have "proper" mechanical knowledge and skill.
  3. Such an interesting project, so close to the end.
  4. I thought that was going to be a wheelie competition at first..... As it happens, it was reasonably entertaining for a few minutes. As @RideWithStyles said, some impressive pimping going on....
  5. New stuff days, are always the best days, especially if it has an engine. Good luck to Sue, hope it serves her well.
  6. This evening I thought I'd change the thermostat in my ZZR1200. Manual says, remove right hand inner fairing panel, then remove the four screws that hold the thermostat. That's about an hour to change the thermostat then....... So I remove the right hand inner fairing panel, which revealed the radiator cap sat upon the thermostat housing, really easy to get to, apart from the fourth screw, which is obstructed by the right hand air duct, which needs the whole top fairing removed. Oh, and I need to drain the coolant 200ml, but I'll drain the lot as I bought a 5litre jug of something expensive to replace it. To do this of course, I have to remove the left hand lower fairing. My planned ride on Sunday isn't looking likely
  7. You only need to look where you're going, not where you've been
  8. That's so horny! Had a look at these last night whilst I drooled over the BMW website. Congratulations Joe
  9. I second this, and to make it worse, it's a transaction completed on the actual phone.
  10. When I read your post the first time I did think you'd have fun (but didn't want to put the spoilers on it). Sometimes it's nice to lean into the wind and feel great about having such control, but sometimes a blast from the side is just downright scary...
  11. Have to admit, that's pretty tasty looking. Good decision.
  12. Design function I love.... My all season (I think) textile trousers have adjustments at the hip, as well as the front and thigh. I appreciate this may be common, but what a difference being able to actually customise the fit, especially if like me, things can get a bit tight.
  13. Those external seams are probably to make them way more comfy on the inside. Don't know why they don't just trim them though.
  14. Looking like the early Goldwing, and they're so long...... I do fancy it in white though.
  15. Naaaaaaaahhhhh, I'm only kidding, I look after (try to) our little farm where we keep horses. The only thing holy here, is the "holy shit"........ Although, I do have to use a CPAP machine, and therefore have a separate bedroom, which of course, does make me a tosser
