  1. Assuming that Rohan is part of Autoliv.....
  2. Good morning bikers
  3. For future efforts removing the pistons, I discovered that pushing them right back in to the calliper, actually makes it easy to then slide them all the way out. I've done this a few times, on the same bike, in the space of a couple of weeks . Turned out my lack of pressure issues were caused by warped disks.
  4. Yes, one would indeed have the engine running, I did this every day on holiday. The query was compatibility with the BMW CAN bus running the air pump through the powered socket, I suggested running it from the battery, thinking it wouldn't affect the CAN bus.
  5. What about a direct connection to the battery? The Airman comes with a lead that can be left connected under the seat, until you need it.
  6. @Fozzie Sounds pretty darned sore, hope it heals quickly. You probably look like a tough guy though.

    DT50

Welcome @Kirk Plews You have a DT50? You're 50 and you have the DT's? I had a DT125 40 years ago, could only just get my leg over it.
  11. Hi @jnr, most seats are locked by the ignition key. Look for a key barrel and latch around the seat.
  12. That's a great story, thanks @bonio

    Colin

My daughter has adopted an injured crow. He loves mealworms, and has a bowl of water that he does actually drink from. He just mooches around the farm yard, and shelters in the barn. He can fly, but rather awkwardly. He does wander off exploring and feeding at the ditch etc. Colin is a cool dude, although, Colin could be Colleen. Getting some rays this morning. Waiting for dinner
  14. Good morning bikers
  15. You can't fool us, we know you had a great time @Bender I bet it was a little chilly though.
  16. @bonio That sounds like immense fun, and an excuse to buy another bike...
  17. Welcome to the forum @Somerset Mon
  18. Ironically, when it's too cold to ride, I'm stripping off the fairings to replace the main bracket, I'll remove the tank and airbox and have a look. My temp gauge barely rises, maybe there is a blockage. I've replaced the thermostat.
  19. Thanks matey. The problem is, I really enjoyed it
  20. No idea about the compatibility, but I use an Airman.
  21. My mechanic was explaining that I had heated carb's, and that they connected to the cooling system. I can't help questioning this. However, he's done a superb job of rebuilding and balancing them.
  22. @Davidtav That's very, very interesting. I'm so much more alert and switched on in general when riding my bike, throw in some 120 adrenaline and that theory becomes a very realistic theory. Doesn't explain the very sensitive throttle though.
  23. Do you get the pump in there too? If so, I'm jealous.
  24. I'm proper confused, at least I have an excuse to try it again. Might try to get the GoPro involved, it's quite possible that I'm just not used to giving it such a caning, despite riding 3k, including belting around the German hills. Naaaah, something changes, I'm sure of it. Maybe it's the heated carb's, as the engine gets that bit hotter, it also makes the carb's hotter.
  25. Wonder if that's burning oil, or unburned fuel that's causing the smoke?
