  1. Good morning bikers
  2. What is actually going on there? Have you been at the single malt?
  3. Woohoo, you'll soon be blurring those white lines
  4. @Bonio Cheers, that saves me a few quid!!
  5. You dragged your wife along to see Kylie, that's wicked, I'd have drooled gone by myself....
  6. Having returned from Germany, I removed my little wind deflector to give it a decent clean along with my screen. Been out for a few hours without it, and now that I'm wearing ear-plugs, I think I'll leave it off. Whilst in Germany, I had terrible wind trouble with speed sustained above 70Mph, but without the deflector the air is much, much cleaner. My initial complaint was wind noise, all I really needed were ear-plugs.

  8. Tempted to get the DVD
  9. Although, to be fair, this guy makes it look easy. Very impressive throttle control, and the suspension soaks it up.
  10. I was at the local church cleaning my testicles in holy water, when a nun caught me, she said it was sacrilegious
  11. What kind of warranty on the 10 year old? With only 10k on the clock, that's merely the milage of a three year old. At 5 years old, the 19 has just as much chance of being a problem as the 10 year old. I'd go with comparing the condition, and a comparison of the care that's been given to each. Checking for any corrosion on bolt heads etc, look underneath the frame, lift the seat (if possible) just to check condition. If they're both mint, what's the difference? Just 5 years which isn't a lot.
  12. Whaaaaaaat? They just need to sweep the soot. It's up to you what you burn. We have three log-burners, but they barely get used.
  13. @Tiggie That's a great idea to get rid of the crap. Can't believe he inspected your wood
  14. Mine was horrified when I asked if it was OK to burn old fence posts and rails. I thought the creosote would help the burn, but apparently not I've got tonnes of the bloody stuff as well...

  17. @Steve_M That's a great "heads-up". Many thanks.
  18. I currently have my heart set on the Honda Crosstourer. AKA the VFR 1200 X. It has the sport bike V4 engine, but re-tuned to give adventure torque low down in the rev's. Take a look, it might be just up your street, or it might not
  19. Hi Josh, great to hear you're enjoying the bike. Welcome to the forum @CoastalCoasting
  20. Good to hear @Fozzie It'll be a nice evening for a ride too.
  21. It does look like you need to remove those panels and just repair the wiring, replace the seat lock, and give it a clean. Hopefully you can order new panels.
  22. When you get it back, put some pictures up so the damage can be seen. Welcome to the forum @Smc1791
  23. Good morning bikers
  24. FFS! Considering they're one of the biggest bike insurers......
  25. I didn't go out to buy a "Sports Tourer", I went to get our farm quad bike sorted, and came back with a £1500 Kawasaki.... (because it was cheap and I didn't have a bike). My mind wants me to ride a nutjob of a sports bike, my body wants a two wheeled sofa. Next bike will likely have to be an ADV style.
