    Tyres

@Oh-Danny-Boy I lose 4 PSI per day from each of my tyres, and I have done since they were new 6 months ago. My bike is 20 years old, and I'm pretty sure I'm losing pressure through my ageing wheel rims. I don't have any bad corrosion, but it's possible. Also, nip to Halfords and get a valve driver, just check the tyre valves aren't loose.
  5. I thought silicon hoses were resistant to just about anything? It's food safe too, meaning it's resistant to acids on foods etc.
  6. Happy birthday
  7. Good morning bikers
  8. Darn, better luck next time
  9. Good work @ChrisBiggsUK, great to hear you have such a helpful dealership nearby. Great choice of bike, and absolute classic quality of a machine that won't let you down, has great balance and will have a good part exchange value when the time comes. Good luck going forward.
  10. Happy birthday @Tiggie Have a great day
  11. Very useful, all you need is the right tools and a tub to keep the bits in. Magnetic trays are very good.
  12. Good morning bikers
  13. So, yeah, it was easy........ Getting it lined back up again wasn't so easy, but still didn't take that long.
  14. New front disks fitted. I even put the wheel back on...
  15. A lot has changed (for the better) since my driving and bike tests 40 years ago. I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that it needs to be a manual during the test, to then be able to drive/ride a manual?
  16. 4000 miles!!!! You're a biker already. Good luck tomorrow.
  17. Oh right, cheers. Are you sure the ship's hold was clean enough to store it
  18. What's that used for?
  19. Good morning bikers
  20. Good luck @Steve_M
  21. It's a pity they're all jumble up....
  22. Good morning bikers
  23. Well done, that's got to be a true baptism of fire. I had a Z1300 which was naked, only bothered by wind and buffeting past 100. You've definitely bought a decent and smart bike. Stay safe.
  24. Noooooooooo What happened, or, what didn't happen?
