  1. Although I'm having to miss my ride this afternoon, I'm pleased to have some rain, our paddocks desperately need a drink to grow the grass, it'll also keep the dust down for a few days.
  2. Good morning, good people of motorbike land
  3. I can't bear the wait... Just got my Euros from Sainsbury's.
  4. That's a beauty @peepae Keep those pictures to remind you of how clean it should be.
  5. 14 degrees, you must have broken into a sweat......
  6. It's nice unpainted.
  7. My bike is heavy, not knowing what I needed, chap replaced the Road 4's with Bridgestone Battlax T31. Only done 400 miles or so on them, they feel good, but not amazing. Time will tell.
  8. @Stu What tyres do you put on a big machine like that?
  9. Happy birthday @Fozzie
  10. @peepae That's so exciting, stay safe.
  11. Fingers (but not legs) crossed for you @Fozzie
  12. Just had an hour round trip to the vet, and yup, it really hurt my head lots of pressure on my forehead, wondering whether to remove the forehead strips, or what I put around the back. Trial and error me thinks. Riding in strong wind confirmed it's so much quieter than the other helmet.
  13. The helmet is 9 months now, it's been sat there unused whilst I've used my Shark instead. I'm resigned to it just being a lesson learned. I'm not inclined to go chasing the issue, the service received from the same store since has been great. I've stuck it to the polystyrene, not directly to the shell, I'll keep an eye on the polystyrene not melting.
  14. They made it quite clear, once it was de-stickered and used on the bike, I couldn't change it.
  15. That's what I thought about doing, but it was half the cost of the helmet to replace the inner gubbins. Didn't think about the adhesive, I'll keep an eye on it, cheers.
  16. Yes indeed, a picture would be great
  17. Rightly, or wrongly, I managed to downsize my HJC i90. I was "persuaded" to buy the XXL as the guy in the shop thought the XL was way too tight. Of course, it only took a few trips out to find the darned thing slipping down my forehead, and I couldn't close the front whilst on the move because it slipped so far. I bought THIS STUFF and pulled the liner out, then just followed to contours and stuck strips of it to the polystyrene inside, then replaced the liner, and It now fits a treat (for now anyway).
  18. Hi @Cdj2k10, is it actually broken, or does it just need adjusting?
  19. No idea, but what a lovely restore.
