  1. Happy birthday @peepae Where have you been, how's your bimmer?
  2. welcome to the forum @Vincenzooo
  3. @Cdj2k10 Hi John, welcome to the forum.
  4. G00d aftern00n. Remember boys and girls, it's not long until the Christmas decorations, music, and,biscuit/shortbread collections start to appear in your local supermarket......
  5. @smallfrowne That's an excellent result, glad it worked out.
  6. It's just as well you listen to her then
  7. It seems you already know the answer. It's not always about the power. Some people just like the bikes.
  8. Does your current can have a removable baffle? I once removed a baffle, and simply drilled larger holes in it. I was stopped by a police biker, but he didn't do anything because I still had a BS kite mark on the silencer.
  9. Great picture, by the way.
  10. Welcome in @Gus_Watford
  11. Welcome to the forum @Nuttyboy50ish Indeed, it's a soothing place to hang out.
  12. Excellent stuff, you'll soon be cruising alongside those lochs and glens.
  13. Putting these in there Kawasaki ZZR 1200 ZX1200C1H 2002 Rear Sintered Disc Brake Pads | eBay It passed the MOT unsurprisingly with the guys I bought it from. Who happen to be the same guys that sent me on my way when I collected it with 18PSI in the tyres on a freezing -1 evening in December. I have no excuses for not checking these things, but I've barely ridden the darned thing, and I'm still getting used to it. I do have some regret in buying it. However, if it hadn't been so cheap (£1500), I wouldn't have a bike at all.
  14. @Tinkicker Man, that's heart-breaking just to read it. @rennie So, why didn't you take the plunge? I imagine if it's anything like owning a static caravan (we no longer do) it works out so expensive just to berth it year round. Then just like Tinkicker, the annual costs of maintenance are make ownership difficult.
  15. It really is something special. Maybe you could make a little/a-lot-of room in that conservatory Mr. Tinkicker?
  16. Rear brake pads... "Hmmmm, that rear brake has never felt very good, I'll just try it without the front brake"..... So after a close call at a roundabout where my rear brake did nothing, I ordered pads, and tonight I thought I'd just swap them out. Nope, not a fecking chance. The whole caliper is seized, can't even get the slider pins out. Once off the bike, I actually had one of the pistons falling out! So a kit including pistons should arrive midweek.
  17. Welcome to the forum @PeterD123
  18. LoL, I've just realised I've given a totally opposite answer to @Nick the wanderer
  19. Hi @NICKTHEPLUMBER and welcome to the forum. That exhaust will make so little difference to the performance (if any) that I personally wouldn't bother. As for telling the insurance, I wouldn't bother doing that either Your insurance would have been high because the 125 market is the most popular, and if a bike is the most likely to be stolen, it'll be a 125. Spend yer money on decent security.
  20. As someone else who has a welder, I'm seriously impressed you managed something so delicate. I can blow holes in 5mm mild steel..... Hang on, instead of a mig, or stick welder, you must have used a @Tiggie welder, hence the name.
  21. Happy birthday @raesewell
