  1. Good luck tomorrow @Steve_M
  2. That's impressively neat @Fish
  3. Not sure if I'd want to be tasked with getting those studs and bolts loose.
  4. You've not even taken it out yet..... Although, I bet you've had a couple of blasts down the road, at least.
  5. @nordicsoulphotos Could be the starter motor sticking, so when you use the kick start, it frees up. Try putting it in gear then rock it back and forth, put it back in neutral and try the electric start.
  6. Went out as it was getting dark, fancied a blap, and wanted to test my new brake lines. Front brake's a lot better, but after filling up and starting my way up to the A14, I actually turned around, because I was getting cold arms. Didn't wear a jumper because I was hot when I left, next time I'll take one with me. Good ride though.
  7. So (yesterday) I replaced the standard front brake hoses. The original was a single line to a T above the mudguard, then one each side to the calipers. I've fitted a HEL two line system, which is a line to each caliper from a double banjo on the master cylinder. Easier to bleed through, and a great braking response.
  8. Ah right, that'll be why
  9. That looks as good as new @Bianco2564
  10. @Tinkicker I am in awe. Makes me want to rush out and resurrect my model aircraft, mostly the Hirobo Sceadu running a Hyper 50, which hasn't run for over 10 years....
  11. Love your detailed ride reports, it does seem as though you have a great time though.
  12. @Tinkicker Was it a new tin roof?
  13. If only you weren't 2 hours away, I'd be able to help a little. All you need is a little confidence boost. Once you get started, and build a little intuition, you'll take on those things.
  14. Congratulations! Don't forget, we want pictures.
  15. One Drive priority drives me fecking nuts... Tip: Right click on the app icon (Word etc) and you should see a list of the most recent documents. Although, I'm not sure if it has to be a shortcut icon on the task bar.
  16. Just in time, thank you. I was running out of decent YT material to watch.
  17. Just in the past six months, I have experienced both of these. It cost me an extra £400
  18. @Throttled That's superb! Although, expensive too
  19. Not if you go back out again today I wore my denims the other day, so stretchy and comfy..
  20. Not bad at all really, I imagine the fitting is the bulk of that cost, but still pretty good.
  21. @JTDG People will see a smaller vehicle, or even a caravan or horse box and just instantly want to get past. I think a lot of us would ride smaller bikes, if it wasn't for the pressure from faster traffic. Also, once you've had a taste of a faster bike, there's no going back. Thing is, 45 isn't actually that slow. Glad you survived though!
