Windy all day, so I waited for sundown and headed out to test my rear brake, and see what it was like with air in the tyres (once again let down by my trust in others).
I only managed a mile and she conked out on me.
Some kind people in a Landrover stopped to check I was OK, so I hollered through my open visor, "yes thanks, I forgot to turn the bloody fuel on"
I was only out for an hour, but really enjoyed the roundabouts on the Haverhill bypass, then out towards Bury St Edmunds and back again.
Lovely back brake, and great handling.
Not a fan of riding in the dark, had my high beam on whilst using the unlit A roads.
