Beautiful bike. Wish I had the money to buy a new steed...
  2. I agree Mp3's are really terrible. If I listen to my Ipod I only listen to ALAC files (FLAC for you non Apple people)
  3. Melody Gardot - My one and only thrill Diana Krall - Live in Paris Mandrill - Composite truth Aretha Franklin - Lady soul All on vinyl of course...
  4. I'm about 70% ambidextrous. I can do most things with both hands but am predominately left handed.
  5. Bit of an audiophile and currently rebuilding and upgrading an old Technics 1210 mk2. Anyone have an old one I can butcher for parts near Croydon?
  6. I recently did some research on covers and the best one I found was the Oxford Rainex. It does come in at about £50 but luckily I found an as new one for £25. I have a medium sized one for my ybr 125 but it won't fit if you have a top box! Hence the chap selling his. It has 2 x holes at the front for your chain to go through the wheel and the cover at the same time but it could be cut off I suppose.
  7. I only use medium gloves as my tucano urbano muffs keep my hands nice and toasty.
  8. There was no option for 'left a really big skid mark in your pants'...
  9. Thinking about it I have an oceanic diving dry suit I could wear. Don't know why I didn't think of it before. Not sure of the abrasive qualities if I crash though. Worse case senario I suppose it could double as a body bag...
  10. I just bought a pair of JTS motorcycle waterproof trousers. They are textile and made of a sort of gortex/kevlar material. During a run to work (about 12.5 miles) in very heavy rain I get a damp crotch. Not wet but damp (no jokes please ) I remember many moons ago when I was a dispatch rider in London I wore lewis leathers with a waterproof top and over the course of a rainy day I would get wet bits all over. Even when I owned wax belstaff top and bottoms the same was true. I am not talking about water comming down the kneck as this is very hard to stop. So... Do true waterproofs exist. Does anyone own such a thing? or is it just a myth... By the way my new 'Tucano Urbano' handlebar muffs are lovely and warm (when worn with medium gortex gloves) and are totally bone dry inside. A great buy thus far.
  11. Best alarmed disc lock on the market at the moment is the Abus granit 8000 detecto. It's a tad pricy at £136 (disc lock only) but apparently it won't go off accidentally and annoy the bejesus out of the neighbors. It's on my wish list...
  12. I just bought the Abus wba100 ground anchor. It get's great write up's. It is normally around £90...But at the moment Amazon are doing them for £43.98 with free p&p. Saving you a whopping 51%...!!! At that price it's a no brainer... Be quick as I suspect they will sell out fast at that price. 13. Check Google images. Someone else must have them as well...
  14. We used to use 'Gun gum' when I was a youngster. Holds them in place nicely and stops any blowing.
