  1. Ooooh if we need any retouching work on the final pick of images then drop me a message @dynax, I haven't done any pro bono work in a while and it'd probably be fun.
  2. Morning all! Last day in the office of 2020 Well, last day here doing actual work. Seeing as I live around the corner I may still drop by to abuse the free coffee machine and maybe even use the gym once or twice. But bollocks to doing any more work! The boss already told me she doesn't expect me to achieve anything today
  3. Can't help that I still regularly take the piss for his posts when he first joined the form despite it being the better part of a decade ago.
  4. Here's a thought @Stu - could we have a dislike button on each post as well as the like button, and then the TOTY is just the one who racked up the most dickhead points with that?
  5. Ah but where did you stick it? That's the important part.
  6. Ehh, in theory I could try for a work visa as a backup, seeing as I'm pretty senior at my work I'd probably have a good shot, but honestly I do miss England at times. If they make it a hassle for me, I may not bother fighting with them. Although, might not be the best time to return home...
  7. Pretty sure that most people had already made that call.
  8. Yeah but honestly if I do get to stay I'd sooner buy one of the more tried and tested Japanese big thumpers. Whenever I get round to doing my US license, that is They give you a temporary visa if you haven't been married long when you first move over, then you get moved to a permanent one once you've stuck around a while and proven it wasn't a sham. Sadly things went south shortly before I hit that mark!
  9. Well I'm here on a marital visa that needs renewing in May and there's a small matter of getting divorced, so unless they decide to be real generous then I probably have issues
  10. A Himalayan is on my list of things to look at after I get myself deported next year.
  11. Love me some ham and pineapple pizza. Started out with ordering it just to piss off one of my Managers who passionately hates the stuff, but then I found out I actually quite like it. Goes well with Pina Coladas.
  12. Maybe even a Curly Wurly if you're really lucky. Handy if the bike breaks down and you need something of equivalent value that you can trade for a Bandit or Fazer to get you home.
  13. Pictures are messed up again. Personally I'd say it's because all BMWs are cursed.
  14. If nothing else, there's probably enough empty space inside the false fuel tank to stash a chocolate bar.
  15. Much cheaper to just skip the hairdresser altogether. Eventually it starts looking after itself when it gets to the point of snapping off faster than it can grow.
  16. You still paid Apple prices for the hardware, so nah, doesn't really do you any favors.
  17. Jesus, you really are a lost cause.
  18. Definitely don't get the Sertao/Dakar if you're going to be keeping it on-road. For one thing the vanilla version is better set up for road riding, and for another thing those two models are in short supply and it'd be a shame to prevent someone who does want to use them as intended from getting their hands on one!
  19. Much smarter than buying an F and messing around with exploding water pump seals and all that misery.
  20. Not really to my tastes! Not that I have much sense of taste. But this still ain't it.
  21. Plenty of tough rides to be found in Wales, all you have to do is leave the tarmac! Nice little 120 mile loop around Snowdonia here... https://my.viewranger.com/route/details/NTIzMDY= Definitely on my "to do" list whenever I finally flee back to the UK with my tail between my legs.
  22. Well, or if there's a way for him to accidentally have a negative reputation score
  23. Putting an empty film canister in a lab docket and watching the trainee lab guy spend nearly an hour trying to extract the non-existent film was always fun. Or asking sales trainees to go down to the warehouse and find a hotshoe PC cord adapter for a model of camera that didn't have a hotshoe. Or just telling sales trainees to search the word "Nikon" or "Canon" in our stock system when they needed product info. Took about 30 to 45 minutes for the inventory search to return every Nikon or Canon product ever made while they had to stand around looking like a twat.
  24. Afternoon all! Officially trying to force myself to get used to the hideous new look forum, after much hesitation. I'm immediately noticing a fault; it's telling me that Six30 has a positive reputation.
