  1. ALrighty, will have a gander online see where is cheap for one
  2. But... Iridium plugs last longer (apparently) so work out cheaper in the long run, just like the K&N. Tom - I picked up a set if iridiums the other week from Halfords - they worked out £7.99 each with a trade cards (£9.99 without). Blimey thats pretty cheap tbh. Will have to have a gander at that. Forget about my trade card to often.. I've read you need certain tool to remove spark plugs? Is that just a load of crud? I was thinking i could go in with a socket wrench and an extender.
  3. Turkey - World of wonders resort Bodrum, very nice all inclusive for a good price. Las vegas - Aww yeh. I stayed at mirage. Tenneriffe - Got a couple here but most in the costa adeje area are good, also siam park is a fantastic waterpark. Heres my trip advisor i do a lot of reviews so have a read http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/members/Th ... CITY_TILES (hoping the link works..)
  4. Commuting down A12 day in day out really.. Air filter ordered at £45 >.> Gonna take mine out and look at it later, if it's bad will post some pics
  5. Ace Cheers for the advice. Think i'll just stick to standard spark plugs though.
  6. Really? That could be why mine is constantly sounding like it struggles for air and cuts out after i get it wet... Time to invest in a proper one then!
  7. Is there a reason i can't wash a standard one?
  8. Right, still having issues, so going to replace all 4 spark plugs and the air filter see if that helps. Spark plugs is it worth the extra for iridium ones? Or just stick with normal. What sort of pirce should i be expecting, wemoto is £7 for normal £12.50 for iridium. Same again for the air filter, regular or performance? Go from £12 to £45..
  9. Definately worth while upgrading. AS for the wind its probably weight of the bike. found that on my 125. went to a 600 and i rarely notice unless its like a hurricane

    Bicycle

I bought a hybrid style bike, it works well on both worlds good on road good off road, a jack of all trades!
  11. Wish this was about when i started riding.. I really am taken by it looks awesome You should write a review
  12. Noticed today on my way back to the office a strange line going down my left fork. Upon inspection the "Substance" came off with a gentle rub from my finger (giggity). Upon inspection it looks like brake fluid has dribble VERY slowly down onto the fork and taken a line of paint off.. Now to clean this off shall i just use a cloth and some water? and for resealing the resevoir shall i just make sure it's not to full. and then just replace the lid?
  13. Yeah.. May just steal a bag from work. The engine isn't noisy enough it's just all the wind going down A12 at 70+
  14. Corr blimey. Maybe when i get a pay rise
  15. Thinking about getting some ear plugs, but i like the idea of custom molded ones that you can re-use. Any body use these / have any recomendations?
  16. Haha ok i'll let you off I've heard bikes with side cars are devilishly hard to ride so probably less safe anyhow! They still look fudgin awesome though
  17. Need a running bike first... I made a typo sorry..
  18. Need a bike first...
  19. And here is where it will stay!! She has no right to say no it's your kid as well and as long as the kid wants to and is doing it in a safe way you're golden. if she is going to act like that do it on the down loooow
  20. It's so cute, i want one Bet it probably goes pretty fast reckon 70+ let us know!
  21. Just fly by her house with a small mannequin on the back of the bike upside down falling off and watch her shit herself.
  22. As above, just make sure they're wearing protective gear (Full set please not just a lid) and that you're not riding a chinese bike
  23. I did my Mod 1 in a weekend, i had minimal riding experience tbh only commuting daily which is very few slow manouvers. did 5 hours training on the saturday took the test on sunday (or was it friday saturday?) Either way it's easy to practice, just get some cones and go to an empty car park. manual handling. hold the bike up so its weight is on the center, stand up, push it back, check left and right as you leave the "Garage" push. as you go onto the path left and right check. push in side stand down. await instructions Slalom you need to look at the next cone along so you don't fixate on a close target and crash figure of eight, just crank your head way around the way you want to go, high revs and toggle the clutch. walking speed is easy just rear brake if you go to fast. U-turn is the one a lot of people fail on as they don't have the revs up enough. emergency stop, simple. just get your speed, leave it in second gear don't bother changing up. roll off throttle, squeeze front brake so you feel it touch then pull on hard enough and apply rear brake, don't grab clutch untill you're about to stop.(start engine if stalled) put in gear life savers and drive to the instructor hazard avoidance was my achilles heel, dodge the obstacle at 30+mph, basically just push hard on the right of the bar to go out and hard on the left to go in. then controlled stop in the box. REMEMBER TO DO YOUR LIFESAVERS!! Left shoulder, right shoulder, go. You will fail if you miss ONE. Good luck! have fun
  24. If he trims an inch off the top i reckon it will be fine.
  25. Tank bags are good, though the magnets can scratch the tank a little so day to day use not the best imo.
