You know what, I’d rather have the ashtray, Sons of Anarchy was one of the worst tv series I’ve ever had the misfortune of sitting through a couple of episodes of.

Some of them are ok, it’s usually the ones that go out at the weekends in huge packs with all their Lycra gear that tend to be the self entitled knobheads. The ones commuting are usually better to be fair.

How in the name of sanity can it possibly be a series ? There is an unimaginable amount of material to use, most of it occurring before the actual LOTR movies took place. There are a number of separate era's where significant events took place, including how Sauron came about etc. The reception to game of thrones, as well as the recent success of 18 rated hero movies like Deadpool and Logan have told the industry that adults are still very much into the fantasy genre, so long as it brings it all down to earth with the fact that even hero characters aren't safe from sudden death. I'll watch it I think. I came into game of thrones very late and watched 6 seasons back to back just ahead of the 7th. I prefer the later seasons, and along with them proving you don't need rampant nudity to hold your fan base, I think that makes a LOTR show a possible hit. Game of Thrones is ok, my main issue with it, having read the books and knowing the back story and events, is there are characters and events much before where the series/books are set which seem far more interesting. I’m much more looking forward to the prequels that are planned than Season 8 to be honest. I’d give an LotR tv series a chance, can’t say I either love or hate the idea.

Whatever you do, don’t think a Disco 3 is an improvement!, I had a first gen RR Sport which is essentially a Disco 3 with a different body shell and I’d take the rust and minor niggles of a Disco 1/2 over one any day. Really I’d love an 80 Series Landcruiser but they’re getting on par with Defenders for holding their money now, so I went for the slightly smaller, more modern 120 series instead, it’s been great, just turn the key and go no worrying what big bill is next!.

The situation with his neighbours is pretty crap, but I think everyone should take a minute to feel sorry for the guy for something much worse- owning a Land Rover.

No she won't touch Ford again, like I won't touch Vauxhall again. Their after sales are both shite. Seems like main dealer mechanics just work off flow charts now which is a shame. No investigation. I think that breeds a lazy culture too and higher costs for us. Anyways... She has opted for a C4 Grand Picasso Exclusive+. Did a fair bit of research and haven't found a bad review. I know it's French, but I'm sure Citroen quality has gotten better since many of us blew their gearboxes years ago. And it can't be worse than the Ford or my Ex Insignia. Citroen’s are great if you’re buying a few years old as they depreciate badly and you can get a lot of car for not a lot of money, decent Diesel engines, French build quality hasn’t got the best rep and I’ve not had a Citroen, I’ve had Peugeot’s in the past-a 306 and a 406 and liked both of them. Honestly though, if build quality and reliability are paramount for you get a Toyota, I know they’re not the most stylish or exciting cars but they just go forever, I actually make use of a 4x4 and swapping from a Land Rover to a Land Cruiser was the best decision I’ve made, I can just get in it, turn the key and not worry about what’s going to break next.

You can have a tyre with plenty of tread, no bulges or rips and inflated correctly and sometimes they can blow on a truck, it's rare but not unheard of, and I couldn't comment wether or not it happened in this tragic case.

They did a fairly decent cover of Dead Souls, but no, it's not better than the original Joy Division version.

I'd give it a couple of weeks and see if they ask for it, if not free phone . I've never bothered insuring smartphones, the monthly fee is a rip off then there's the excess, the last ones I've had I've never done anything to. I've currently got an iPhone 6S Plus which I've had since November 2015 and I managed to crack the screen on that about 5 months into ownership but it's not too badly cracked so have just lived with it. Looking at replacing with a Blackberry KeyOne next time round. I think Apples computers are great, much prefer Mac OS X to Windows but not really sold on their phones to be honest.

That is a subtle way of having a pop at whatever traffic Police we have left on our roads. 55 - 60 is Police Motorway patrol speed (when they go onto thr Motorway) Honestly it isn't, never experienced any problem with Trafpol, 55-60 isn't a problem, its people who pull onto a clear motorway at 40-45 then continue to stick at the same speed which are annoying in a truck, it's not such an issue in a car or on a bike, but to slow a loaded truck down from 56 to under 40 to give them a safe distance, then the worst bit is either getting into lane 2 to overtake them or being stuck at the same speed as them as lane 2 is too busy, it takes a lot of distance and effort to get a truck wound back up to its limiter.

No!, no I don't, not anymore, I've done what I should have done in the first place now- bought a Landcruiser, I will never own another LR product again, lovely cars but just so unreliable and badly built.
